In five lines Rudy Francisco related to all of those issues in an intimate way, and that is what makes him an amazing writer and poet. Who never received a much- deserved apology? It’s little things like that which makes his pieces so deep and relatable. One poem that truly struck me was “Strength.” In just five lines Francisco conveys a time where he convinced his fist it was a flower and forgives someone before being asked to. He truly has a way with words that reaches out and touches people no matter their race, age or sex. Rudy uses “Helium” to expose the struggles and triumphs of his own life, using witty analogies and eye-opening metaphors. “Helium” covers a range of taboo topics such as race, politics, personal life, heartbreak and the occasional love poem (although he swears he isn’t a love poet). His first book “Helium,” a culmination of some of his spoken word poetry and new pieces not yet performed, was released in November 2017 and was well worth the wait. Internet sensation Rudy Francisco, a Button Poetry artist made famous for his spoken word poem “Scars/ To The New Boyfriend,” has finally made his written word debut.

State of Fear takes the reader from the glaciers of Iceland to the volcanoes of Antarctica, from the Arizona desert to the deadly jungles of the Solomon Islands, from the streets of Paris to the beaches of Los Angeles. This is Michael Crichton's most wide-ranging thriller. Only Michael Crichton's unique ability to blend science fact and pulse-pounding fiction could bring such disparate elements to a heart-stopping conclusion. Thus begins Michael Crichton's exciting and provocative technothriller, State of Fear. And in Tokyo, an intelligence agent tries to understand what it all means. In Vancouver, a small research submarine is leased for use in the waters off New Guinea. In the jungles of Malaysia, a mysterious buyer purchases deadly cavitation technology, built to his specifications. In Paris, a physicist dies after performing a laboratory experiment for a beautiful visitor. This book, prancing around a race towards death, is beautifully written and swells up the throat of the readers with tears at multiple points in the story-line. Caught between their last moments, the two patients with not much in common, except their advancing death, share their tragic and inspiring stories and influence the lives of everyone around them. With a team of interns and their personal demons from the past to haunt them, the story depicts various shades of two lives crossing paths in a single room. These two polar opposites in the hospital room are fighting death, as their doctors bend rules of medicine and at some points, even their ethics to keep them breathing. Going by the novel, its narration is quirky as Durjoys previous novels, there is love, there is friendships. He cannot wait for his last breath to arrive. Till The Last Breath Summary of the book. Being trapped inside the cold, wet, small cells gives Rambo a flashback of his days as a prisoner of war in a Viet Cong prison camp, and he fights off the cops as they attempt to cut his hair and shave him without shaving cream, beating one man and slashing another with the straight razor.
